Pharma Nord Bio-Vision - Tissues comprising the eye (lens, retina) are vulnerable to damage by free radicals. Free radicals are oxidizing chemical species which are generated as toxic by-products of normal cell metabolism, as well as exposure to ultra violet light. Antioxidant substances present in Bio-Vision protect against such free radical induced damage within the eye.

Thus carotenoids, which are responsible for the red and yellow colouration of some fresh fruit and vegetables, have powerful antioxidant properties. In addition, beta carotene is a precursor of vitamin A, the role of which in night vision is well known, and lutein is a protective component of the macula, the light sensitive central region of the retina involved in vision targeting and colour perception.

Are there adverse effects from taking Bio-Vision?

There are no known interactions or contra-indications for Bio-Vision.

How much Bio-Vision should you take?

It is recommended to take two tablets daily, one in the morning and one in the evening with meals, to provide the following daily intake of antioxidants: 250mg vitamin C, 200IU vitamin E, 7.5mg beta carotene, 16mg bilberry extract, 4mg lutein, 20mg zinc and 1mg copper.

The vast majority of orders (over 90%) are despatched either on the same working day or the following working day. A signature is required on receipt. Our standard delivery option includes packaging, handling, delivery insurance and Royal Mail 1st Class recorded delivery postal costs.
To ensure patient safety, private prescription orders are despatched via a courier delivery service and are not eligible for free delivery.
For orders that weigh 25kg or more (and for every subsequent 25kgs) there is an additional handling charge of £3.49 per 25kg. All other delivery conditions apply as above.
