How to take Pepto-Bismol:
Age 16 and up: 30ml repeated every half hour if needed.
Maximum of 240ml in 24 hours.
Not to be given under 16 years.
Shake well before use.
5ml of Pepto-Bismol contains:
Bismuth subsalicylate 87.6 mg
Possible side effects whilst taking Pepto-Bismol:
This product may cause a temporary and harmless darkening of the stool and/or tongue.
Caution before using Pepto-Bismol:
Do not exceed the stated dose or use after expiry date. Stop use and ask your doctor if:
Symptoms are severe or persist for more than 2 days.
Diarrhoea is accompanied by fever.
You notice anything unusual or have any unexpected effects.
You accidentally take too much.
Ask a doctor before use if you are taking medicines for anticoagulation (thinning of the blood), diabetes or gout. Not recommended if: pregnant or breast feeding - ask a health professional before use.

For orders under £40 in value we charge £3.49 for UK mainland delivery,
regardless of weight and size. The vast majority of orders (over 90%)
are despatched either on the same working day or the following working
day. A signature is required on receipt. Our standard delivery option
includes packaging, handling, delivery insurance and Royal Mail 1st
Class recorded delivery postal costs.
To ensure patient safety, private prescription orders are despatched via a
courier delivery service and are not eligible for free delivery.
For orders that weigh 25kg or more (and for every subsequent 25kgs) there
is an additional handling charge of £3.49 per 25kg. All other delivery conditions apply as above.
