Imodium Instant Melts are instant melt in the mouth tablets, and can stop diarrhoea with one dose. They can provide fast and convenient relief from diarrhoea. Just place the tablet on your tongue and it dissolves instantly so you don't need water to help you swallow it.
How to take Imodium Instant Melts:
For acute diarrhoea for persons 12 years and over: initially 2 tablets allowed to disintegrate on the tongue and then swallowed followed by one tablet after each loose bowel movement. The usual dosage is 3 to 4 tablets per day. Maximum 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Under 12 years: not to be given.
Acute diarrhoea associated with IBS: Over 12 years: initially 2 tablets allowed to disintegrate on the tongue and then swallowed. The usual dose is 2 to 4 tablets per day in divided doses. If required this dose can be adjusted according to response up to a maximum of 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Under 12 years: not to be given.
Each Imodium Instant Melts contains:
2mg loperamide hydrochloride. Also contains: gelatin, mannitol, aspartame, mint flavour and sodium hydrogen carbonate.
Possible side effects when taking Imodium Instant Melts:
Side effects with Imodium are rare but should you experience any side effects report to your doctor or pharmacist.
Caution before taking Imodium Instant Melts:
Not recommended for under 12 years of age
Do not exceed stated dose
Imodium is not a substitute for re-hydration therapy
Please read the leaflet enclosed before use

This is the only instant melts on the market. It works immediately and is very effective just as the others by this brand but it is especially useful when you don't have clean water to take pills with or have trouble swollowing pills. It's expensive but it works. ..
