Hypromellose 0.3% Eye Drops - For Dry Eyes are also known as 'artificial tears'. They are used in the eye to relieve dryness and irritation caused by a reduced flow of tears. In certain circumstances they can reduce damage to the eye.
Hypromellose can also be used as a lubricant for artificial eyes and to moisten hard contact lenses.
Hypromellose provides immediate relief of dry eye conditions (including dry eye conditions associated with the use of VDUs and TVs, infrequent blinking, certain medical treatments, atmospheric pollution and drying atmospheres e. g. air- conditioning, central heating, wind and sun.
Hypromellose 0.3% Eye Drops - For Dry Eyes - Put the drop into the pocket formed by gently pulling down the eyelid and close the eye for 1-2 minutes. After a few days most people only need to use the drops about 4 times a day, if you need to use the drops more than 6 times a day return to your GP.
Hypromellose 0.3% Eye Drops - For Dry Eyes - Before using hypromellose eye drops make sure your doctor or pharmacist knows:
- if you wear contact lenses.
- if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this or any other medicine.
- if you are taking or using any other medicines, including those available to buy without a prescription, herbal or complementary medicines.

courier delivery service and are not eligible for free delivery.
For orders that weigh 25kg or more (and for every subsequent 25kgs) there
is an additional handling charge of £3.49 per 25kg. All other delivery conditions apply as above.

Hypromellose 0.3% Eye Drops were prescribed by the Royal Hallamshire Hospital after cataract operations last year. They have been a great help, so cool and soothing when my eyes start to 'prickle'. As they are so inexpensive, I don't ask for prescription renewal, I buy my own.
I would recommend them for dry and itchy eyes. ..
