1. My Covonia Cold & Flu Formula sometimes tastes very strong (stronger than usual). Why?
 
This is a common query from regular Covonia users. The most likely explanation for this experience is that the bottle was not adequately shaken. Some of the natural oils used in the formulation tend to separate to the surface when the bottle is at rest and therefore the product carries the instruction to “shake the bottle vigorously” before use.
   

2. Can children use Covonia Cold & Flu Formula?
 
Covonia Cold & Flu Formula can be taken by children aged 12 years and upwards. Please read the recommended dose on the back label of the bottle.
 

3. Will Covonia Cold & Flu Formula make me drowsy?
 
Covonia Cold & Flu Formula normally works without causing drowsiness, but care should be taken initially as rare exceptions can occur.
 

4. How does Covonia Cold & Flu Formula work?

5. Can I use Covonia Cold & Flu Formula if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
 
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if breastfeeding. This medicine must not be used if pregnant.
 

6. Does Covonia Cold & Flu Formula contain sugar?
 
The product contains liquid maltitol and sorbitol. This should be taken into account if you have an intolerance to some sugars.
 

7. Does Covonia Cold & Flu Formula contain alcohol?
 
The medicine contains 15% vol ethanol (alcohol). This is equivalent to 76ml of beer or 32ml of wine per dose.

How to take Covonia Cold & Flu Formula:

• For oral use
• Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Fill the measure cup to the 20ml mark and take one 20ml dose (four 5ml spoonfuls). Wipe the neck of the bottle clean, and replace the cap securely, without over-tightneing it.
• The dose must not be repeated more frequently than every four hours, and not more than four doses should be taken in any 24 hours.

Cautions whilst taking Covonia Cold & Flu Formula:

• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
• Do not give to children under 12 years of age except on the advice of a doctor.
• Do not take if you are pregnant.
• Contains paracetamol - do not take with any other paracetamol containing products.
• Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well.
• This product contains a decongestant. Do not take with other products for the relief of colds, flu or congestion.
• Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.

For orders that weigh 25kg or more (and for every subsequent 25kgs) there is an additional handling charge of £3.49 per 25kg. All other delivery conditions apply as above.
