Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream

Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream can be applied directly to the inflamed area almost immediately relieving the symptoms of sweat rash. It is the only product you can buy which has the dual-action of clotrimazole with hydrocortisone to eliminate sweat rash. It contains an anti-fungal that works at the root of the problem (Candida), plus hydrocortisone to soothe the symptoms fast.

What is Sweat Rash?

Sweat rash is extremely common. Unfortunately it can affect anyone at any time but there is no reason why it should cause long-lasting discomfort. This irritating condition is caused by candida, a yeast that occurs naturally on your skin. Trapped perspiration can sometimes upset the natural balance of the skin allowing candida to cause an irritating, itchy and often unsightly red rash. Although there are many excessive sweating products on the market, Canesten is one of the most reputable brands available. It's difficult to know when it might strike as everyday things such as sweating it out at the gym could potentially lead to this common fungal skin infection. Common areas where this tends to appear are where the skin rubs together: under the arms, backs of the knees, groin and under the breasts.

The common signs and symptoms of sweat rash are:

• A sore red rash
• Inflamed skin
• Itching
• Burning discomfort
• The skin could also be broken and may be moist

Sweat rash is usually found in skin folds or in areas where skin rubs together, therefore you are more likely to experience this condition in areas such as:

• Groin
• Under arms
• Between and under breasts
• Back of knees
• Elbows

Unlike a lot of similar excessive sweating products, Canesten actually helps to treat, soothe and prevent further discomfort rather than just masking the irritation.  

Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream contains:

Clotrimazole 150mg (1 %w/w) and Hydrocortisone 150mg (1 %w/w). It also contains benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, triceteareth-4-phosphate, medium chain triglycerides and purified water.

Cautions whilst using Canesten Hydrocortisone Cream:

Do not use for more than seven days. If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, see your doctor.

The vast majority of orders (over 90%) are despatched either on the same working day or the following working day. A signature is required on receipt. For orders that weigh 25kg or more (and for every subsequent 25kgs) there is an additional handling charge of £3.49 per 25kg. All other delivery conditions apply as above.
