Calpol Six Plus Sugar Free Suspension Liquid

Calpol Six Plus Sugar Free Suspension is used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain (including teething pain), and as an antipyretic (bring temperature down).  It is a strawberry flavour sugar free suspension which contains paracetamol.

This medicine is suitable for children over 6 years old. It also suits adults who find paracetamol tablets and capsules difficult to swallow.

How to take Calpol Six Plus Sugar Free Suspension Liquid:

• Over 12 years: 10-20ml every 4 hours. Maximum 80ml in 24 hours.
• Children 6-12 years: 5-10ml every 4 hours. Maximum of 40ml in 24 hours.
• Children 6-1 years: 2.5-5ml every 4 hours. Maximum of 20ml in 24 hours.
• Not recommended for children under 1 year

Calpol Six Plus Sugar Free Suspension Liquid contains:

Strawberry flavoured, sugar-free and colour-free suspension containing in 5 ml:Paracetamol 250 mg.

Tell your doctor as soon as is possible if you notice any of the following:

• Skin rashes or other sorts of allergy.

• Very rarely people taking paracetamol can feel unusually tired, get unexpected bruising or bleeding and get more infections (such as colds) than usual.

Caution when using Calpol Six Plus Sugar Free Suspension Liquid:

Always read the leaflet.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Do not take if you are already taking with something else that contains paracetamol.

Follow the dosage instructions.

Speak to a doctor if your child gets a rash, breathing problems, diarrhoea or gets very tired.
