Ateronon is a one a day food supplement, which contains 7mg of Lycopene. It has long been recognised that populations eating a tomato-rich “Mediterranean” diet, suffer from a lower incidence of heart or circulatory-related diseases. Scientific studies of the Mediterranean diet have helped to reveal that the tomato-derived antioxidant lycopene is one of the key ingredients contributing to these improved levels of health. Lycopene inhibits the oxidation of LDL cholesterol, an important component in maintaining a healthy circulatory system.
In its natural form, the lycopene from tomatoes is difficult for the human body to absorb. After 10 years of research, Scientists at Cambridge University have developed an exciting new formulation, so that the body can now easily absorb and obtain benefit from this important antioxidant. Ateronon is the first and only lycopene-based supplement to have proven bioavailability of lycopene.
Ateronon is also available to purchase in 9 and 12 month supply. Please click here to visit the Ateronon brand page where you can view the full range.
