What is a DNA Text for paternity?

DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) is a chemical substance found in most cells in the human body. Half of each person's DNA comes from their mother and the other half from their father. DNA testing allows you to compare DNA from the mother, child and father, it is then possible to establish whether an alleged father is the father of a child with a probability routinely in excess of 99.99%.

How does it work?

Four simple stages:

1. Collect samples from mother, child and father using mouth swabs
2. Place swabs into separate envelopes provided
3. Complete consent form and make payment
4. Mail to assuredna in prepaid envelope

DNA Test for Paternity Directions:

STEP 1
- Begin with the mother. Fill in all details to the front of the mother's pink sample collection envelope.
- Be careful not to touch the inside of the envelope.

STEP 2
- Carefully open mother's swab packet by peeling back the flap and remove one pink swab.
- Be careful not to touch the head of the swab.

STEP 3
- Holding the stick end of the pink swab, gently but firmly, rub the head of the swab inside the mouth on the inner cheek (on both sides of the mouth) for about 30 seconds.
- Gently shake the swab in the air for a few seconds to dry.
- Be careful not to put the swab down or touch the head of the swab.

STEP 4
- Place the used pink swab into the mother's pink sample collection envelope.

STEP 5
- Remove the second pink swab from the packet and repeat steps 3-4 and seal the mother's pink sample collection envelope.

DNA Test for Paternity:

• Be careful not to put the swab down.

Standard Delivery
For orders under £40 in value we charge £3.49 for UK mainland delivery, regardless of weight and size. The vast majority of orders (over 90%) are despatched either on the same working day or the following working day. A signature is required on receipt. Our standard delivery option includes packaging, handling, delivery insurance and Royal Mail 1st Class recorded delivery postal costs.
To ensure patient safety, private prescription orders are despatched via a courier delivery service and are not eligible for free delivery.
For orders that weigh 25kg or more (and for every subsequent 25kgs) there is an additional handling charge of £3.49 per 25kg. All other delivery conditions apply as above.

Delivery charges to Europe are shown at checkout dependent on the weight of your parcel and destination. Delivery is usually within 3-10 days from dispatch. Certain product and weight restrictions apply.
