Altacite Plus Suspension

Altacite Plus Suspension provides symptomatic relief of Dyspepsia: flatulence and abdominal hyperacidity; gastritis: peptic ulceration; heartburn especially when associated with oesophagitis or hiatus hernia and heartburn of pregnancy.

Adults:

• The usual dose is 10 ml i.e. two teaspoons between meals and at bedtime.
  

Children (between 8-12 years old):

• The usual dose is half the adult dose 5 ml i.e. one teaspoon between meals and at bedtime.
• You should follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s advice about how and when to take this product.
• If symptoms persist for more than 14 days consult your doctor or pharmacist for further advice

Altacite Plus is a white, suspension that contains two active ingredients:

Hydrotalcite (aluminium magnesium carbonate hydroxide hydrate) is an antacid that binds excess stomach acid and relieves the symptoms of indigestion, heartburn  and stomach ulcers.

Dimeticone is an antiflatulent which reduces the amount of trapped wind in the gut, by exerting an anti-foaming action.  Dimeticone brings together the small gas bubbles into  larger bubbles which can be expelled more easily.

Standard Delivery
For orders under £40 in value we charge £3.49 for UK mainland delivery, regardless of weight and size. The vast majority of orders (over 90%) are despatched either on the same working day or the following working day. A signature is required on receipt. Our standard delivery option includes packaging, handling, delivery insurance and Royal Mail 1st Class recorded delivery postal costs.
To ensure patient safety, private prescription orders are despatched via a courier delivery service and are not eligible for free delivery.
For orders that weigh 25kg or more (and for every subsequent 25kgs) there is an additional handling charge of £3.49 per 25kg. All other delivery conditions apply as above.

Delivery charges to Europe are shown at checkout dependent on the weight of your parcel and destination. Delivery is usually within 3-10 days from dispatch. Certain product and weight restrictions apply.
